Freeze Plug Heaters are used to heat the engine fluids of gas and diesel vehicles to ensure quicker winter starts and reduce engine wear in cold weather. The heater is operated using standard household AC power and the heat generated is distributed throughout the engine by the convective flow of the warmed coolant. Highest rated; most efficient type of heater on the market today. The V-Loc(TM) locking system provides quick; trouble-free installation. Plated stamped steel & forged brass adapters with copper heating elements for maximum life and efficiency.
Agricultural, Industrial & Heavy Duty Applications:
Ford 3000, 4000, 5000, 8000, 9000 Series (Engines Manufactured 1968-1970). Install in fourth & fifth Right Side (RS). Two heaters required. Point element DOWN. Circulation heater or LRHH are acceptable alternative.
LSG633 (200 C.I.D. 6 Cylinder). Install in Right Front (RF) or Right Center (RC). Point element UP or DOWN.
Isuzu 4BD1 (3.9 Liter 4 Cylinder), 6BD1 (5.8 Liter 6 Cylinder), 6BG1 (6.5 Liter 6 Cylinder), 6HK1 (7.1 Liter 6 Cylinder), 6SA1 (8.4 Liter 6 Cylinder), QD-100 (3.9 Liter), QD-145 (5.8 Liter), 4BGI, 4BGIT, 4BGITC. Replaces 45 MM freeze plug in the back of head. Install element 1 o'clock.
QD-90, 4BB1 (219 C.I.D. 4 Cylinder). Install in back of head. Point element 1 o'clock. Not for use on Isuzu 4JJ engines.
QD-130, 6BB1 (329 C.I.D. 6 Cylinder). Install in back of head. Point element 1 o'clock. Not for use on Isuzu 4JJ engines.
Zestor All Models - Except 278 (4.5 Liter ) & 417 (6.8 Liter). Install in Left Rear (LR). Point element UP.
