When this happens, be sure to replace them with our bale spears that are heat treated and are forged with a tapered end so can easily slip into or under hay bales. This spear also comes with a nut for user-friendly installation. It measures 32 inches long, with a 27 inch working length and a 36 mm. diameter. It also has a 3,500 lbs. maximum load
