Even hay spears become worn or break and no longer function. When this happens, be sure to replace them with our bale spears that are heat treated and are forged with a tapered end so can easily slip into or under hay bales. This spear also comes with a nut for user-friendly installation. It measures 31.5 inches long, with a 27 inch working length and a 38 mm. diameter. It also has a 3,500 lbs. maximum load
